Refined digitisation at MiRO

Following the successful commissioning of two pilot projects, the refinery MiRO "Mineraloelraffinerie Oberrhein GmbH & Co. KG" has decided to introduce the digitisation platform mQuest® Audit to digitise its manual processes. Paper and Excel are to be replaced in the long term.

The mineral oil refinery MiRO in Karlsruhe is Germany's largest refinery and one of the most modern and efficient refineries in Europe. For the shareholders Phillips 66, Esso, Rosneft and Shell, more than 1,000 employees refine the resource crude oil into high-quality petroleum products such as gasoline, diesel, heating oil, propylene and bitumen – around 14 million tons per year. Every third to fourth liter of gasoline in Germany is produced at MiRO. This makes the refinery part of Germany's critical infrastructure and places particularly high demands on quality and safety.

Holistic plant audits are now carried out regularly with mQuest® Audit. All around the clock, plant operators monitor the most diverse criteria. From compliance with various safety regulations, to the condition of installed parts, to operating parameters such as temperature or pressure. Results of the routine programmes are summarised in defined plant operator protocols.

We are looking forward to a very good cooperation.
