Optimized capture of documents during mobile data collection

When documents such as delivery bills, invoices or even contracts are captured, the relevant areas will be automatically recognized. Various assistance functions are available for this purpose. This includes the automatic correction of perspective, brightness and image cropping.

Numerous improvements make mobile data collection better than ever

The new mQuest^® version 21s comes with a multitude of improvements in the details. These include the display of previously made entries for drag&drop questions and scale-based slider questions, a new optional counter for traffic censuses for mQuest^® Traffic, and an additional security mechanism through certificate pinning when connecting the app to the server.

Improvements to the mQuest^® App

• Document scanner for optimized capture of documents during the survey
• Text links in digital questionnaires and forms for additional files like PDFs, images, videos and audios
• Display of previously made entries for drag&drop questions and scale-based slider questions
• Extended options during setup using QR codes. Menu items can be shown or hidden
• Questionnaires and forms can be loaded in specific language versions for even faster transmission
• On request, data records are stored on the device for later viewing after synchronization. The visualization appears in a data record history
• Projects, questionnaires or forms can be searched on the app's start screen
• New optional counting module for mQuest^® Traffic with more flexible configurations

General improvements

• Improved handling when continuing interrupted forms and questionnaires
• Extended text formula to display captured photos within a survey
• Additional security mechanism during connection between app and server through certificate pinning
• Answer options in drag&drop questions can be hidden by filters
• Improved display of messages during maintenance
• If the license expires, inactive clients are notified by e-mail and deactivated if necessary
